Good morning Babes!  Today I’m introducing you to one of the most positive and inspiring people I know.  She always has a smile on, always pushes me to crush goals, always ready to stand by your stand no matter what those dreams are.  Everyone, meet Kristina!  She just got married and I’m obsessing over all the wedding pictures she shares.  She is also a teacher for middle school students.  Her joke of the day literally makes me laugh every single time.  Sometimes not because the joke is even funny but because she just laughs and is so damn adorable.  I love this girl with my whole heart and I’m honored to have her by my side as we change the dynamic on self love and being confident in your body!
 1. Tell us a little bit about yourself:
a. Name, age, job, hobbies etc (your three words to describe you)
-I am a 28-year-old teacher, coach, and entrepreneur. During the day, I spend my time with some awesome middle school students, teaching 7th grade English; in the afternoons and evenings, I coach incredible clients and friends through kick-ass classes and transformation programs at Body Rock RI; and somewhere in between all that, I work on building my side hustle (Advocare), also focusing on health and wellness! Each of these aspects of my life is pretty rewarding on its own, but the fact that I get to embrace each of them on an almost-daily basis is pretty cool. In the summer, I love spending a little extra time in my favorite place, reading some of the books on my never-ending list and soaking up the sun and sand with my husband.

2. What is a typical day like for you?
-A typical day is usually jam-packed; my feet have to hit the ground running! On my busier days, I spend from 7 am to 2:30/3 at school with my students. From there, I go to Body Rock RI, where I set up for back-to-back classes, watch our clients bring the heat and kick some serious butt, and then I train with one of the athletic youth teams that we have the pleasure of working with. Depending on the day (and whether or not I can catch a workout with my Body Rock crew), I either get to the gym first thing in the morning or very late at night. Once I get home, it’s usually time to prep for the next day and by the time I chat with my hubby for a few minutes and crawl into bed, I fall asleep instantaneously!
3. On hard days, what motivates you to get up and start your day?
-The fact that I have been given this life as a gift is a great reminder to never take any single day for granted. Just opening my eyes and knowing I have the ability to move my body pumps me right up!

4. Who inspires you to live your best life?
-My incredible students: they take risks every single day and work hard to figure out who they are and where they fit in amidst this crazy, chaotic world. They are the game-changers of our future.
-My Body Rock RI Crew (staff, clients, friends – they’re all family now): they set goals and crush them, day after day, overcoming obstacles and setbacks with grace, strength, and dignity.
-I hope that I inspire them half as much as they all inspire me on a daily basis.

5. If you could go back and tell your 13 year old self something….what would that be?
-You are beautiful just the way you are; fuel your body instead of starving it.
You won’t meet your future husband for nine more years, so relax, he’s worth the wait.
And for the love of all things awkward, please stop cutting your bangs.
6. What is your favorite quote?
-“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
7. You are inspiring women to stop hating and start loving themselves and each other, what piece of advice would you give them?
Celebrate you, every damn day. Work out because you love your body, not because you hate it. Invest in yourself, because you are WORTH IT. You deserve to give yourself 100% of yourself, because nobody else is going to do it for you. You get to decide your happiness. So decide for you.
