Elizabeth + Vicken met while she was a senior in high school. When Liz told me about their proposal I had to laugh because I completely understood what she meant. Vick planned out this beautiful moment, he wrote “Will you marry be Liz” in the sand and Liz honestly thought it was for someone else until she turned around and he was on bended knee. She admits that she doesn’t even remember what he said because the moment was so surreal and she was in complete shock. If you’re one of those brides that doesn’t remember, don’t feel like you’re the only one. I don’t remember what Shiloh said either! It’s such an overwhelming experience! They were on a camping trip with Vick’s family and a large group of friends. Once Liz said YES they all celebrated at the campground with champagne.
Their wedding took place at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA. It was a beautiful spring day and Liz was just glowing. She got ready at her parents house surrounded by her closest friends and family while he got ready at his parents home. St Patricks Church is such a vision with it’s tall cathedral ceilings. When they were announced as husband and wife, every single person was up on that dance floor with them. It always fills my heart with such joy to see families come together to celebrate a couples love. Since Liz is a wedding planner she had some of the best vendors for her special day! Make sure you scroll down to the end to see all the talented people that helped her put this together!
