Miss S came to me looking for a Valentine’s shoot for her significant other. Originally, it was just a gift. Whatever he wanted was what she wanted to do. The shoot wasn’t for her. Usually, I don’t take these types of clients on because I really like to connect with the women I work with. It’s more than just shooting for me and I’d like it to be more than that for her. But I decided to take it on as a challenge to help Miss S how beautiful she is.
Miss S actually cancelled the shoot and was going to go with someone her friend recommended. I wished her the best of luck and hoped the photographer captured her the way she wanted. Then, she came back because I offered an album that the other photographer didn’t. Little did she know I offer a lot more than just a shoot and an album. We met at Starbucks for some coffee (hot chocolate for me) and we hit it off. I’m so glad she decided to go with me because I gained a life long friend.
Miss S is such an amazing person. I really enjoyed getting to know her and hearing about her life. She is the mother of two beautiful young women. She is such a tough girl too! I couldn’t believe the stories she had about her hiking endeavors with “The Pounders” (a local group of people that take hiking, running etc to the extreme). Miss S is currently training for a 10 mile run in Newport soon! She really inspires me.
Christine Dianne worked on makeup for this shoot. She did an amazing job. Miss S looked absolutely flawless. She enjoyed the process and then we started on her portraits. She has such a great style and everything she brought flattered her. At one point she literally said “If it was my choice I would take one picture and be done with it!” Miss S didn’t feel like she was photogenic. She didn’t like seeing herself in pictures.I showed her a sneak peek or two during shooting so she could see how amazing she looked.
And then, she fell in love! I was so ecstatic that she finally saw what everyone else sees in her. Her true beauty. She is strong and beautiful. She is passionate and fun! She is a WOMAN! She deserved to see herself in all her beauty. That’s why I took her on as a client. It was a challenge for me to help her change her mind. I loved every second of talking with her and coaching her during the shoot.
I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoy what I do. I just love hearing each woman’s story about why they are shooting, what insecurities they have, what they have gone through, where they want to be, and even what their strengths are. I provide a service. I work with an amazing make up artist that loves what she does. I work with women who need that confidence boost! I walk with you every step of the way from choosing your outfits, meeting with you prior to your shoot to make sure we are on the same page, helping you pose, and building a one of kind album just for you.
We build a relationship that you can come back to over and over again. I am so proud of Miss S and how far she has come in the small amount of time I have known her. She is so proud of her images and wants to share them with her friends to inspire them to book a session as well!
Feel free to contact me for any information regarding a boudoir shoot or any other type of shoot I can help with. It is such a great experience to have.
