Good morning! It’s another chilly day here in Rhode Island. I’m going to be honest and say this weather has put me into a bit of a funk. The boys were on school vacation all last week so things have been quite hectic. They are back in school now so it’s time to play!
Today I am featuring a good friend of mine, Miss C. I met Miss C through mutual friends and from the instant we met we just hit it off. The two of us are too much alike it’s almost scary. We are May babies which means our zodiac sign is the Taurus. Miss C loves astrology. I’ve always read my horoscope and such but I didn’t delve into it much until we started really talking about it one day.
The thing about Taurus women is that we are just totally awesome! Haha. Okay maybe I’m a little biased, but we have some really strong quality traits that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Strength and persistence. No matter what is going on in our lives we push on! A Taurus is loyal, dependable, and generous. When I say I have a great friend in Miss C, I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
Miss C has become one of my very best friends. I can talk to her about absolutely anything. It’s funny because we’ve known each other such a short amount of time but because we are born under the same sign I feel as if we’ve known each other forever. We know things about each other without even having to say anything.
Miss C is an amazing woman on many different aspects. I admire her because she wants to change the world! She is going to school for Mental Health. The reason she chose this concentration is truly because she wants to help people. She has such a big heart and that really resonates with me. As much as our paths are different….we both want to try and change the world. One broken heart at a time.
Miss C has already helped me overcome some things I’ve been dealing with and I thank her for that. She is such a sweetheart. She makes me laugh until my sides hurt! Oh and I cannot forget she shares my LOVE for food. If there is food involved we are there! But seriously, what is better than enjoying a delicious meal with your loved ones? There is just something about it that warms my heart (and my belly).
There are not many people that come into my life that I decide to keep. I have been through a lot in my life and have a hard time trusting people. But Miss C has proven to be a true friend. She lifts my spirits and builds me up. She also puts me into my place when I’m being ridiculous and you need that in life. You need a few girl friends that will hold your hand, talk you through things, and just goof off with you.
Miss C is an amazing woman. Intelligent, beautiful, funny, kind, and down to earth. I have faith that she will change the world in her own way. Even more, she has already changed my life. Knowing I have someone out there looking out for me is a blessing.
